Jamuary is over

Posted by Arponax - January 31st, 2024

It has been a great time

Imma be honest at first i expected to like, make about 5-7 songs, not even that.

But the ideas were coming, i learned to take inspiration from more sources....if it is stuff i hear in my head or just things i see or maybe stuff other people told me.

I had to learn to actually develop ideas, not all of them went the way i wanted and its not music i would actually release.

Ive made few new presets to add into my sound "library", learned to make more dynamic and fun melodies.....oh boy i even tried some new genres and explored stuff i didnt do before.

It was great, im thankful for this challenge @Droid im not sure ill be joining next year if there will be this challenge too.

But it was a great time.

I will definitely go back to some of those tracks i made since there are some serious concept i would like to explore deeper. For now that would be CollabJam and AnarchyJam while some might come in future.

But for now im going to take a loooooong break XD from producing

Heres a playlist of all songs i made, i hope you will not only enjoy but maybe some of those songs could lit a bit of inspiration or just motivate to do:

After all, its about just making something that you enjoy.

So to end this...people of NewGrounds i wish you a great time, continue in what you love if its music or draws, games or movies, put your heart into it and learn stuff everyday.

Jamuary, not every track is gold but the strength you acquire along the way will help you make diamonds. I'm glad you stuck with it. Feels good having 30 songs added to your catalog this early into the new year, doesn't it?

Cool Picture <3

Indeed, trial and error is what pushes you forward.

It indeed does feel great to have those songs there, what feels better imo is that i feel that i was able to actually hold a solid quality the whole time. Sometimes worse sometimes better but overall im really happy with the quality.
